My son/daughter and I are sharing a computer.
***To maintain privacy and separate accounts, it is important to ALWAYS LOGOUT after every session. Parents will always receive an email following each Exam or Lesson Completion to keep you informed of progress. In addition, Parents will always have access on the “My Progress” tab to view Exam Answers and Review Progress.
Do I have to take the course with my son/daughter?
Just like Driver’s Ed, there is parental involvement that is vital to the success of the course and the amount of influence you have over the results. Your participation is optional, however, we have found that “riding shotgun” helps parents implement the tools more effectively. If time constraints or relational barriers prevent you from participating, we recommend you delegate a trusted personal Mentor of your choosing or we can assign one online that is a Certified Mentor to manage the exam advancement. As the Parent, you will ALWAYS have access to your Student’s progress and the Mentor is there only to guide and advance, NOT give advice. For more information on the Mentor Role, click here.
How much time should we allow for the course?
That is 100% up to you! The course is designed as a self-paced course to use at your discretion with no expiration date. It is reasonable to complete Segment One – Teen Dating Permit (9 Lessons) in 9 weeks. Each Lesson takes 1-1.5 hours to complete, which can be done in 15-20 minute sessions 4-5 times a week, as an example.
My son/daughter took the Teen Dating Readiness Gauge. What now?
You should have received an email that notified you of the completion with a link to view the results. If not, not worries! Just Login and go to your “My Progress” tab and click on the icon for the exam located under the “Introduction.” At the bottom of the exam results, you will see a green bar to click to “Approve” your student to advance to the PDF download page for the first video.

How do I know which PDF is for my Student?
Your Student can only access and print the “Fill-in-the-Blank” handout through their personal account while logged in. Parents can only access and print the “Answer Guide” handout through their personal account while logged in. ***To maintain privacy and separate accounts, it is important to ALWAYS LOGOUT after every session so that your Student will not have access to the Parent Handouts with answers to the exams.
My son/daughter finished watching the video but it will not give him/her access to continue.
For accountability purposes, the video will not result as “complete” in “My Progress” until viewed in it’s entirety AND closes automatically. If the video has been viewed, refresh the page and this should “complete” the video. If the video in “My Progress” still shows “incomplete,” you may need to reload the video and advance to the last minute to let the video close automatically. You can achieve this with the back button or the “video” link on the lower left corner of the video page.
My son/daughter completed the Video Exam but cannot advance to the Lesson.
Parents receive and email whenever their son/daughter completes the Video Exam or Lesson Exam. Your Student cannot advance until you approve them through either the email link or in your account under “My Progress” by clicking on the last completed exam icon. Scroll to the bottom of the answers given and click the green bar to “Approve” their advancement.
My son/daughter completed the exam but I want to review the answers before I let my student continue.

When should I expect the email when the exam is complete?
When your student submits the answers to an exam, it automatically generates an email to you. It should arrive in your inbox within minutes. In addition, you can always go to “My Progress” in your account to view the answers and “Approve” your student as soon as the exam is complete.
